You know DeRegt as a leading manufacturer of high-end cable solutions. But did you know DeRegt also offers a full cradle to grave field service? This means you can get your cables promptly serviced by their original manufacturer.
We are proud to present our new product video, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at how we create world-leading cable solutions for clients all over the world, from our base in the Krimpen aan de Lek, the Netherlands.
Why is it important to involve your cable supplier early in the development of your new product or equipment? At DeRegt we often see customers who have succeeded in developing a great system, but who simply forget to think of the cables involved, or underestimate the complexity of them.
Like every company, we’re in business to make a profit. But not at any expense. And certainly not at the expense of our employees, assets, the environment and communities. So how do we work? What principles do we live by? We covered them all in our recent Health and Safety Day. See for yourself by watching the video.
All change at DeRegt! Following a period of profound organisational transformation for DeRegt, we have now appointed a new managing director. His name is Daniël Ruiter and we had the pleasure of asking him SIX QUESTIONS below. Find out more about our new leader below.
Space is always scarce on board ships and submarines in particular, which means that the smaller Sonar or ROV systems can be, the better. A tailor-made cable with a small diameter and bend radius helps keep the winch as small as possible, reducing the overall footprint of the system. A logical step you can take to reduce system size is opting for a flexible termination for towed arrays, with the same bend radius as the cable, as this allows the entire rig, including both the cable and the array, to be rolled up on the same winch.
The demand for UAVs, UUVs and USVs for defense purposes is currently greater than ever, which means that crucial components, such as cables, have to be developed quickly and must meet high-quality specifications.
